Together New Orleans is asking for volunteers to help conduct outreach to neighborhoods affected by last night's tornado, especially in Arabi.

We'll be meeting today at 3pm at Central Missionary Baptist Church, 1438 Alabo St, which is about a half-mile from the hardest-hit area in Arabi.

We'll be conducting simple check-ins with people, either be canvassing or phone banking, depending on access to the neighborhoods this afternoon.

Training and materials will be provided.
