Gather… Together… We…

These are concepts that have been out of reach for much of the last fifteen months as we’ve been isolated from one another.

It is time to reclaim them.

We invite you to a Citywide Assembly of Congregations and Citizen Organizations on Tuesday, July 13th, 6:30-8pm at Dillard University’s Lawless Memorial Chapel.

Delegations are attending from a broad range of faith and community institutions across the City. We would be honored if you can attend.

The purpose of this assembly is to set our City on a path to do more than simply “get back to normal.”

We’ll gather to lay the foundation for a new source of community power in our City — a non-partisan organization that crosses the lines of faith, race, economics and geography to bring people together to solve our common problems.

We call it Together New Orleans.

If you plan to attend the assembly on July 13th, please register online here.

Organizations with delegations of 10 or more people will have reserved seating at the assembly and will be recognized in the event program.

July 13th will be an in-person event and attendees are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated. Masks will be required. There will be an option to join by Zoom for those wishing to do so.

If you have any questions about the event, please reach out to Cynthia Coleman at (504) 421-2994 or [email protected]

We look forward to having you join us as WE… GATHER…TOGETHER!
